Hatton Garden Heist Update

The final 3 suspects in the Hatton Garden Jewellery raid were today convicted, following the guilty pleas of the 4 ring leaders.

The precise figure stolen will likely never be known; but estiamtes range from £14m to over £200m. It is still described as the ‘largest burglary in English legal history’.

The affect of the robbery is still being felt in Hatton Garden, with many independent traders, and larger diamond merchants, still waiting to be compensated for their losses; or having not been insured.
